About Us The origins of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering (SEIE) can be traced back to the Department of Electrical Engineering of Changzhou 721 University of Technology established in 1978, later known as the Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT). As one of the largest schools of CIT, there are 91 faculty and staff members with professional expertise, including 16 professors and 26 associate professors, and there 35 Ph.D. degree holders. Our excellent staff team has achieved multiple results, and namely, 1 is selected as the Outstanding Educator in Jiangsu Province, 1 is selected by the Six Talent Summit Plan of Jiangsu, 5 are selected by the Jiangsu 333 project, 6 are selected by the Jiangsu Qin Lan Project and 2 are selected by the Changzhou Youth Talent Program. We have organized an inclusive team with high-quality research backgrounds and strong abilities of innovation, aiming for excellence in both undergraduate education and scientific research. The school offers five majors for undergraduate students, including Automation, Building Electricity & Intelligentization, Electrical Engineering & Automation, Electronic Information Engineering and Electronic Science & Technology. We now have 1954 students enrolled in the full-time courses. Also, SEIE has built various platforms to help our students broaden knowledge and improve skills for future successes. We offer our students a variety of opportunities in academic research, engineering training and social practice, to guarantee our well-rounded students to step into relevant industries and other professional fields after graduation. |
